Dr. Guy Simoneau, Marquette University, Milwaukee, United States, is stepping down as Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy, a role he has held with distinction since 2019.

In addition to his outstanding contributions to the fields of orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Dr Simoneau has played a pivotal role in supporting the BJPT's strategic growth. During his tenure as Editor-in-Chief, his leadership and vision were instrumental in consolidating the journal's position as one of the highest-ranked physical therapy journals worldwide.
